How am I eligible to apply for a writer’s position?

Writers MUST have taken AWR 101 and AWR 102.
Note: Writers must submit proof of course completion along with supporting documents.

Writers MUST have a GPA minimum of 3.5.

What are the application requirements?

Writers MUST submit an outline of their proposed law review idea topic. This requires independent research in search for the topic of their choice. One could research relevant case law and/or statutes.

Writers MUST also submit supporting documents: writing sample(s), essay answering prompt, and their resume.

Note: ALL applications must remain anonymous. This means, you must create a pin and state it on your application. ALL writing samples, resumes, and essay prompt must have the pin included rather than the name of the individual. We want all applications judged on the same standards with no room for biases.

When do applications open?

Applications open two weeks prior to the beginning of the new semester and will be due during the second week of the first semester.
